Deckman
for Windows has again been successfully used on boats all around
the world this summer in a variety of races, both inshore and
offshore.
Giraglia
Rolex Cup
This offshore classic in the Meditarranean was won convincingly
by Charle's Dunstone's Nokia Enigma, a maxi 77, with GBR Challenge's
Julian Salter on navigation. DfW was also used on a number of
other boats in the top ten, including Y3K (Wally 94), Magic Carpet
(Wally 95) and Kirribilli (Beneteau First 47.7).
Newport-Bermuda
race
DfW again dominated this offshore race, being used on Morning
Glory (first to finish in Demonstration division), Carrerra (first
to finish in IMS), Titan (second to finish in IMS), the TP52 Brightstar
and the maxi Zaraffa.
Cowes
Week
DfW was used on the three Farr 52s - Chernikeeff 2, Team Tonic
and Bear of Britain - which took the top three places in the prestigious
IRM racing class.
America's
Cup
Sailmath has supplied both Deckman for Windows and WTPs - the
high performance instrument system - to a number of the teams
which will be competing in the America's Cup Pre-Regattas starting
this autumn. In addition, Sailmath has been working with a number
of the teams helping them to develop custom systems.
