A summer of success

Boats with Sailmath products have again been competing across the world this season, with continued success.

The winning team was the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club from Australia, with both boats using Deckman for Windows. In the IRC class, America's Cup navigator Ian Burns was aboard Robert Oatley's victorious Wild Oats, after a close tussle with Bribon Telefonic Movistar, which also had DfW aboard. The next four boats were also carrying DfW, and two had Sailmath WTP instrument systems.

In the IMS 600 class, Australian boat Aftershock, navigated by Volovo Ocean Race veteran Adrienne Cahalan, was also placed first carrying DfW.

Transpac

First on the water in Division 2 was Bob Lane's Medicine Man carrying Deckman for Windows. Second to finish was Karl Kwok's new Transpac 52 Beau Geste, carrying a Sailmath WTP and Deckman for Windows, navigated by Steve Hayles.

The Cal 40s had their own class this year, with legendary navigator Stan Honey sailing his own boat Illusion to victory.

Rolex Fastnet
Deckman for Windows dominated this offchore classic, being used on the top six boats in the overall standings, including the winning boats in both class 0 and 1. The race was won by Charles Dunstan's NOKIA - Connecting People, with GBR Challenge member Jules Salter navigating. Class 0 was won by Jazz and class 1 by Dutch boat Holmatro, both also carrying DfW.
